ONE PERMANENT Position offered in Ohio
Responsibilities:
Manage the lifecycle of ongoing projects from the concept and design stage through to installing machinery on site.
Work and development of the Strickland Vane and S-Lock Couplers. Coordination of projects. Forecast project budgets to include conducting in-depth reviews of product affordability. Draft and design layout of products to maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computer. Perform Fault Finding and Troubleshooting. Diagnosing faults on machines and providing solutions. Produce high quality drawings for the fabricators. Order and organization of machine parts and kits Apply knowledge of the practical application of company proprietary engineering and technology. Utilize specialized knowledge of SolidWorks to provide detailed drawings of a range of different components. Liaise with suppliers and fabricators to ensure smooth processing of operations. Conduct Finite Element Analysis to run simulations on products/components. Determine operational methods. Review technical documents to plan work. Utilize specialized experience in cutting edge engineering design software and manufacturing technologies, including AutoCAD, guillotines, and plasma cutters.
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM degree plus two years of experience in the job offered or related position.
The required experience in the job offered or related occupation must include Drafting and designing layout of products to maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computer. Conducting Finite Element Analysis to run simulations on products/components. Determining operational methods. Reviewing technical documents to plan work. Utilizing specialized experience in cutting edge engineering design software and manufacturing technologies, including AutoCAD, guillotines, and plasma cutters. In addition, at least one year of experience working and developing Strickland Vane and S-Lock Couplers.

SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
ONE PERMANENT Position offered in Ohio
Responsibilities:
Develop, interpret and present detailed designs and calculations using CAD, Finite Element Analysis and Mathscad. Evaluate and recommend new technical and design approaches to increase the company’s products competitiveness. Using Solidworks, designed new products for in house manufacture to improve the quality of current machines. Manage R & D projects independently ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. Testing, trouble shooting and problem resolution of machines. Conduct Finite Element Analysis on new designs to ensure they perform to required standards while also keeping material waste to a minimum. Conduct engineering analysis including development of cost effective solutions to customer problems. Specify equipment to achieve minimal cost and minimal field disruption for customers. Mentor engineering staff on market trends and customer needs. Manage the engineering ticket system to ensure that all feedback from production was used to improve the quality of our drawings. Analysis of cost of material and manufacturing processes, identification and evaluation of alternatives. Programming of CNC machines. Liaise with suppliers and operations for technical and commercial information. Implement and oversee changes required in operations to meet customer’s needs.. Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities. Apply Knowledge of company principles and processes for providing coupler services to clients.
