A thumb is matched to an excavator bucket and creates a "grabbing" mechanism. A thumb can be retracted allowing the bucket to be used independently. A grapple is a thumb matched to a rake, creating an exclusive "grabbing" mechanism.

Our Pro Series 2000 coupler system is a C-shaped coupler that wraps around the bucket and cradles into the loader linkage to offer you the lowest CG extension in the industry. Locking pins extend vertically. It is also the first universal coupler.Within a size category any coupler can pick up any attachment. The Series 1000 was our first coupler design and does not offer the universal feature. Pins lock horizontally. Both couplers employ our exclusive, single point, self-aligning method of pick up and release. There is no compatibility between Pro Series and Series 1000.

Having the right bucket for the job at hand is important. The primary difference between the Asbury and ACS buckets is the shell design and the service duty. The Asbury bucket is the best primary digging bucket made today. It features a flat-bottom (that creates a knife-like surface) to optimize primary digging applications. The ACS bucket features a rounded, sloped bottom that dramatically increases material "boil" to improve loading and maximize capacity. ACS is a highly regarded, general service duty bucket.
