Account Manager

Position Summary:

The Account Manager is responsible for the sales and marketing of ACS equipment attachments. Position will meet customers’ needs and grow market share while maintaining acceptable levels of gross profit and attaining sales unit targets.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides customer support via inbound/outbound telephone and email communications. Providing information in a complete, timely and accurate manner.
  • Proactively develops accounts through buying history analysis, suggested new product promotions, and superior relationship building.
  • Effectively qualify, research, and follow- up with customers on quotes and order opportunities.
  • Provide information surrounding order scheduling, expediting, product promotion and general inquiries.
  • Assist with and/or participate with lead generation and customer retention activities.
  • Collaborate with outside Territory Managers on RFQ’s, future opportunities, and customer inquiries.
  • Achieve department and individual key performance metrics in regards to perfect order entry, achieving sales targets, customer retention, and customer growth targets.
  • Develop expertise in the heavy attachment product lines to allow for successful product placement and solution selling.
  • Order and quote entry into organization ERP system
  • Account management of contract pricing, special purchase agreements, promotions and updated customer information.
  • Make changes or updates to a customer’s profile or account information
  • Keeps records of transactions and update and maintain company databases information.
  • Generate reporting on monthly and requested basis for follow up and management review.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure customer request dates and on time delivery of shipments is met
  • Effectively interact and participate in continuous process improvement initiatives in regards to service, sales, marketing, and operational efficiency.
  • Assesses competitors by analyzing competitor information and trends. Participates in product training, field service team updates, and warranty training as needed.
  • Shall adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Preferred
  • 2 - 5 years inside sales and/or customer service related work experience, preferably in the industrial construction field

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Heavy construction and attachments experience preferred
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of energy, motivation, drive, persistence, initiative, commitment and professionalism.
  • Excellent time management, composure, business acumen, organizational agility and timely decision making
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP/CRM solutions; including ability to input, maintain and extract data
  • Heavy construction and attachments experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability of providing world class customer service and customer relationship building
  • Ability to understand customer issues and provide solutions and resolve customer needs
  • Competitive, focused on achieving goals and the ability to learn on the fly

Sales Development Specialist

Position Summary:

The Sales Development Specialist is responsible for supporting Account Managers and Territory Sales Managers in prospecting and building a pipeline of qualified leads to meet business plans, quotas, and company objectives via telephone, email, social media, and marketing campaigns.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Source new sales opportunities using lead generation techniques
  • Make outbound calls to follow through on marketing-generated inbound leads and execute on lead nurturing strategy
  • Conduct a needs analysis and determine prospect’s pain points to help determine the best solutions ACS has available to meet those needs
  • Contact qualified leads to set up appointments for Account Managers and Territory Sales Managers
  • Create, organize and track leads using Infor CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached
  • Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified prospective opportunities
  • Conduct account-based research to personalize outreach as well as identify key buying influencers within these prospects/customers and determine budget and timeline on a per opportunity basis
  • Meet monthly and quarterly qualified leads and revenue objectives
  • Exhibit best practices on prospecting, qualification and attended meeting generation
  • Provide weekly accurate forecasts to the inside sales manager

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of sales related work experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of energy, motivation, drive, persistence, initiative, commitment and professionalism
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing abilities
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and experienced with CRM software
  • Discipline to maintain high call volumes
  • Prior consistent quota achievement/top performance in sales/business development
  • Competitive and focused on achieving goals
  • Recruitment/employer branding industry knowledge
