Sales Development Specialist

Position Summary:

The Sales Development Specialist is responsible for supporting Account Managers and Territory Sales Managers in prospecting and building a pipeline of qualified leads to meet business plans, quotas, and company objectives via telephone, email, social media, and marketing campaigns.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Source new sales opportunities using lead generation techniques
  • Make outbound calls to follow through on marketing-generated inbound leads and execute on lead nurturing strategy
  • Conduct a needs analysis and determine prospect’s pain points to help determine the best solutions ACS has available to meet those needs
  • Contact qualified leads to set up appointments for Account Managers and Territory Sales Managers
  • Create, organize and track leads using Infor CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached
  • Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified prospective opportunities
  • Conduct account-based research to personalize outreach as well as identify key buying influencers within these prospects/customers and determine budget and timeline on a per opportunity basis
  • Meet monthly and quarterly qualified leads and revenue objectives
  • Exhibit best practices on prospecting, qualification and attended meeting generation
  • Provide weekly accurate forecasts to the inside sales manager

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of sales related work experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of energy, motivation, drive, persistence, initiative, commitment and professionalism
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing abilities
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and experienced with CRM software
  • Discipline to maintain high call volumes
  • Prior consistent quota achievement/top performance in sales/business development

Manufacturing Production Manager

Job Description

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Manufacturing Production Manager is a key member of the operations leadership team at ACS reporting directly to the CEO. This position is responsible for day to day manufacturing activities and coordination of production activities with various support departments and ensures that all manufacturing goals are met in a timely and cost effective manner. Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with the Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Shipping, and Maintenance departments. This position also coordinates and resolves materials, equipment, and labor issues regarding existing and new products and relies on training, experience, judgment, and team dynamics to plan and accomplish goals.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or a combination of equivalent education and experience).

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a manager in a heavy metal fabrication environment (burning, forming, fabrication, weld, and machining)
  • A background in Quality Control, and/or Engineering is a PLUS
  • Strong experience in fit, weld, and finishing. Robotic welding a PLUS.
  • Ability to develop and execute documented plans for improvement
  • Professional approach toward manufacturing
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Talent for developing a systemic approach toward operations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Drive throughput improvement in all areas including: prefab, fabrication, finishing, and maintenance.
  • Providing technical leadership in all activities with special attention to welding and fabrication. Expertise in this area is critical to success
  • Coordinating with Materials and planning to insure manufacturing schedules are executed properly
  • Collaborating with Engineering on process and design improvement initiatives
  • Directing a staff of 50+ manufacturing professionals on a daily basis
  • Maintain and enhance a high level of shop safety, facility organization and overall housekeeping.
  • Achieve and maintain high levels of on time delivery and product quality
  • Proficient in project planning that is organized, deadline driven, and documented
  • Implement waste reduction programs and product flow efficiencies
  • Training shop personnel on manufacturing and weld procedures
  • Develop KPI’s for managing the shop
  • Ability to think critically, analyze information, and make actionable recommendations.
  • Must understand engineering drawing practices per ASME Y14.100 and weld symbols per ANSI/AWS A2.4-79.
  • High degree of reliability and organizational capability with strong project management skills and the ability to develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Technical competency including advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience conducting all activities in an ERP system environment.
  • Knowledge of Infor XA version 9.2 highly desirable.

POSITION ENVIRONMENT

  • Job Type: Salary, full time 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to function efficiently and safely in an office and factory environment
  • Must demonstrate ability to build and lead teams in a nonpolitical, collegial work environment.
  • Limited domestic travel.
  • Compensation - Competitive based on experience and demonstrated abilities.
