2nd shift CNC Machinist

About the Position:

Shift: 2nd 2pm-10pm Starting Pay: $20/hr

The Machinist role is tasked with running, programming, and maintaining the CNC machine they’re assigned to. Including: fixturing and/or set-up of parts (drill, mill, bore, tap, etc.)

  • Determine the fixtures, attachments, and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications, and mount them to machine prior to beginning cutting
  • Discuss project specifications with engineers and supervisors to guarantee consistency between plans and products, and collaborate to modify designs when existing ones are not feasible
  • Modify machine speed, tooling and cutting style to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts
  • Oversee cutting process, make adjustments throughout each job, catch mistakes as they happen and take necessary measures to eliminate errors
  • Supervise machine temperatures, ensure that machine has adequate warm-up and cool-down time between jobs and replace coolant periodically
  • Review and interpret cutting plans, enter them into control outlets before jobs and alter them to correct mistakes when necessary
  • Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, including lubrication, cleaning and tool replacement

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience operating CNC machines
  • Comfortable using tools and maintaining machinery
  • Strong knowledge of programming and interpreting CNC software
  • Must be proficient in CNC machining, lathe and mill.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Values precision and enforces quality standards
  • Understanding of G-code

2nd shift Welder

About the Position:

Shift: 2nd 2pm-10pm Starting Pay: $18/hr

The Welding role is fast paced MIG, doing structural welds, 3/8th-1/2 and ¾ welds, to build heavy machinery equipment and other miscellaneous products as orders come in.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must be able to MIG weld and pass a weld test in shop.
  • Forklift and jib overhead crane experience desirable.
  • Must be able to conduct dimensional inspections of parts and check for quality requirements.
  • Being able to weld out of position and air arc knowledge is a plus.
  • Must be eager to learn, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and most importantly, willing to be trained.
  • Must be willing to perform various other shop duties as needed.
  • Must be able to follow directions and maintain a professional attitude.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to work within a team environment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an ability to use hand tools (tape measures, square, drill, saw, grinder, etc.) or have a strong overall mechanical aptitude and be willing to be trained.
  • Must be punctual/reliable and be willing to work overtime as needed.
  • This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, and kneeling throughout the day. Team Member must be able to lift, push, and/or pull items 5o+ lbs. safely.
  • Must be willing to learn and adhere to required safety standards and practices.
  • Must have or be obtaining a High School Diploma or equivalent.

2nd Shift Fitter / Fabricator

About the Position:

Shift: 2nd shift 2pm-10pm Pay Range: $20-24/hr (Experience Based)

The Fitter/Fabricator role is tasked with the fit-up, assembly, and MIG welding of various steel heavy metal construction attachments.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must be able to weld (tack and string) various parts in different materials and fit-up parts prior to welding.
  • Must be skilled in cutting (oxy fuel and hand plasma) as required.
  • Must be able to conduct dimensional inspections of parts and check for quality requirements.
  • Must understand and interpret blueprints and technical drawings and have a good understanding of blueprints and weld joint designs.
  • Must be willing to perform various other shop duties as needed, such as general MIG welding.
  • Must be able to follow directions and maintain a professional attitude.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to work within a team environment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an ability to use hand tools (tape measures, square, drill, saw, grinder, etc.) or have a strong overall mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be punctual/reliable and be willing to work overtime as needed.
  • This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, and kneeling throughout the day. Team Member must be able to lift, push, and/or pull items 5o+ lbs. safely.
  • Must be willing to learn and adhere to required safety standards and practices.

  • Must have experience in welding carbon, stainless, or high alloy steels. (3-5 years’ experience preferred.)
  • Must have experience in Fitting / Fabricating not JUST welding—at least 1-2 years.

PRODUCTION APPLICATION ENGINEER

ONE PERMANENT Position offered in Ohio

Responsibilities:

Oversee work on the S lock coupler. Establish sequence of S-lock product to fabricate and assemble parts and to promote efficient utilization. Apply knowledge of the practical application of company proprietary S-lock engineering and technology. Determine operational methods utilizing experience in cutting edge engineering design software and manufacturing technologies, including CAD, guillotines, and plasma cutters. Review technical documents to plan work. Design new equipment to increase production or improve standards for customers, specifically in relation to the main pin and progressive link thumb evaluations and development. Compile and evaluate products to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Interpret engineering drawings. Analyse the test results and change the design or system as needed. Confer with technical personnel to prepare designs or operational plans. Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities. Draft and design layout of products to maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computer.

Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related plus One year of experience in the job offered or related; or Associates Degree in Engineering or related plus Two years of experience in the job offered or related position

The required experience in the job offered or related occupation must include overseeing work on the S lock coupler.
